Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?

Therapy Across Seasons is a fully virtual practice serving adults across Ontario. Sessions are held securely online, allowing you to attend from a private space that works for you. I do not currently offer in-person sessions.

Who do you work with?

I work with adults ages 18+ across Ontario through virtual individual and family therapy. My family therapy work primarily focuses on adult family relationships, such as parents and adult children, siblings, and other family members wanting to better understand their patterns and strengthen their relationship.I do not currently provide therapy to children or adolescents.

What are your rates?

Is psychotherapy covered by insurance?

I do not bill insurance companies directly. After each session, you’ll receive a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend checking whether your benefits include services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) before booking.

What’s the difference between seeing a psychotherapist, psychologist, or social worker?

Psychotherapists, psychologists, and social workers are different regulated professions in Ontario, and depending on their training and scope of practice, each may provide psychotherapy.I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My role focuses on providing psychotherapy—supporting clients in exploring emotions, relationships, patterns, beliefs, family dynamics, and experiences that may be affecting their lives.I do not provide psychological assessments, psychological testing, or diagnoses. If you are looking for these services, another appropriately qualified healthcare professional may be a better fit.One practical difference may be your insurance coverage. Some plans cover Registered Psychotherapists, while others only cover certain regulated professionals. I recommend checking your individual plan to confirm which providers are included.

What happens during a consultation?

A consultation is a chance for us to briefly talk about what brings you to therapy and what you’re looking for. You can ask questions, learn a little more about how I work, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.If we decide to move forward, we can discuss next steps and scheduling.

How often we meet depends on what brings you to therapy, your goals, schedule, finances, and what feels sustainable. Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions for consistency, and we can adjust the frequency over time.We’ll talk about what makes sense for you rather than following a one-size-fits-all schedule.

What can I expect from your approach to therapy?

My approach is collaborative, relational, and integrative. We may explore what’s happening now while also getting curious about the patterns underneath it, what shaped them, what they may have helped you navigate, and whether they still fit.I use reflection, questions, psycho-education, and practical strategies when helpful, with the goal of helping you better understand yourself and begin approaching things differently.

Will my culture, family, or identity be considered in therapy?

Yes. Culture, family, identity, and community can shape how we understand relationships, emotions, responsibility, success, boundaries, and what we expect from ourselves.Rather than assuming these influences are something to change, we can explore what they mean to you, what you want to carry forward, and what may no longer fit.

How do I know if we’re a good fit?

During your consultation, we can talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what has or hasn’t felt helpful before. I’ll also share how I work so we can consider whether my approach fits what you’re looking for.If I don’t think I’m the right person to support what you need, I’ll be transparent about that and, where possible, offer referrals or help connect you with other therapists or resources.
